Exploring the relationship between infrastructural development and socioeconomic well-being in rural areas: Evidence from Bakassi, Cross River State, Nigeria

The relationship between infrastructural development and the socioeconomic well-being raises interest in rural areas. It specifically examines road construction, potable water supply, of dwellers Bakassi Local Government Area Cross River State, Nigeria. study design is cross-sectional, using quantitative qualitative data from 420 respondents, with a multi-stage sampling technique. descriptive statistics such as percentages frequency tables, Chi square was used to test significance variables. All respondents agreed that there significant construction (68.8%), supply (41.0%) dwellers. concludes Thus, since roads has become viable approach establishing other sectors economy, governments at all levels should be largely involved provision good durable rehabilitation old ones, especially linking villages, towns, communities strengthen economic activities.JEL Classification I30; Q25; R00
